School Nurse Coalition

Steps coordinates quarterly meetings of the School Nurse Coalition, a peer group for school nurses in the New Orleans area. The coalition has created an opportunity for communication, coordination and sharing of resources across school systems.

The School Nurse Coalition provides the opportunity to create uniform policies and procedures relating to the management of chronic diseases such as asthma.
